Budweiser E

Take the awful taste of most energy drinks, mix it with the mediocre taste of Budweiser, and you've got a taste that is ... terrible.

Budweiser claims that their newest entry in a long line of innovative beers is, "a distinctive new product for contemporary adults who are looking for the latest beverage to keep up with their highly social and fast-paced lifestyles." It's distinctive all right. And I'm not sure your taste buds are ready for that kind of distinctive taste.
Budweiser E
It smells like Budweiser and an energy drink. The problem is that a lot of energy drinks smell just like that blue fluid they use in a Port-A-Potty. And to me, that smell has never brought happy, images of refreshing beverage to my mind. Budweiser E also has this really bitter aftertaste that hangs on your tongue like a bad mistake constantly warning you that if you continue drinking, this taste will only continue to haunt you.

Before you accuse me of being a beer snob who hates Budweiser, let me tell you that I was in the mood for a Bud, I had no idea it was anything but a Budweiser, so it if it had that classic Budweiser taste, I would have been fine with it. But it wasn't for me. I couldn't get down more than a 1/4 of the can before I had to put it aside and cleanse my palate with another three Budweisers to remove the taste.

As a way to drink more Budweiser, it succeeds. But salty snacks are cheaper and taste better. If you want an energy drink and get drunk at the same time, I say try a vodka Rockstar. You'll be much happier in the end.
