Coast V2 LED Flashlight
HOLY COW IS THIS A BRIGHT LIGHT!
I bought this light for doing inspections at night at Burning Man and I am completely sold. First off, it has a nice, true white light which is nice when you need to see true colors. It works really well, it is exceptionally bright for hours, it's compact, it's got a lanyard and a carrying sheath with a belt loop which makes it easy to pack away.
When I say this is an exceptionally bright flashlight, I mean this is something you expect a cop to be shining in your eyes when he pulls you over one night and says, "can I see your ID?" I have flashed myself in the eyes during the day and been momentarily blinded. It is that bright.
The light is made from black lightweight aluminum casing, it is 4" long, very rugged and it has a simple on/off switch located at the end of the light so it is easy to find. It is also water-resistant.
It's a great light for in the car, in the tent, for walks at night, trips in the dark to a port-a-potty, for joggers, chances are you will find a use. If you need one really bright reliable flashlight in emergencies or everyday use, this is it.
All of the Coast flashlights I have tried have been very good quality and built to be reliable. If not the V2, I suggest you check out the rest of Coast's line of flashlights. You will not be disappointed.
