Portable Table Top Butane Stove
Butane stoves are a perfect accessory for car camping, barbecuing, power outages or anytime you need an extra burner for cooking.
This model is very nice because it ignites very easy, it produces a nice amount of heat (7200 BTUs is perfect for most tasks), it's compact, safe to use indoors and it has a carrying case.
The advantage of a butane stove is the size. Check out the photo, it's very small and the butane gas cylinder is inside stove. There is no big ugly green propane bottle to worry about. I find a stove like this is just the thing to pull out for heating water for morning coffee or tea. It can also handle tasks such as cooking breakfast, or later tasks in the evening such as heating up cider or hot chocolate.
It is also a lot less problematic than some of the cheap propane stoves I have used in the past. It requires no matches, it heats up instantly and is fairly trouble-free. Getting the hang of installing butane cylinders is a bit tricky at first, but that is due to an anti-explosion safety device. The nice thing is that you can easily pack it away back into the car for road trips unlike other larger portable propane grills. This grill will fit in any car. Not only that, but other grills meant for road trips cost around $200.00, which makes this far more economic.
