Downtown Cedarville

Cedarville (pop. 1,100) is the last town you will drive through that has any semblence of being what can be considered a town. There is an gas station, a very small store, a burger stand, a restaurant and really, that's it. Eagleville has no retail establishments of any kind. Although we have listed all of the businesses we could find below, trust us when we tell you we don't remember seeing most of them.

There is not a single gas station or any retail establishment of any kind between Cedarville and Gerlach, a stretch of 97 miles. Between Eagleton and Gerlach, there is maybe 10 houses total, and I have no idea if any of them are occupied or have phones. There is literally, nothing at all along this stretch of road.

As a precaution, top off your gas tank and check your water, tires, oil when you leave Alturas, Callifornia and again in Cedarville.

Eagleville, California

downtown

This is downtown Eagleville. No jokes, this is the town.

15 miles south of Cedarville, you will pass through the town of Eagleville. It is a nice, quiet town where it's past seems to have been it's highpoint. The only thing left is a post office, a graveyard and a few buildings that could have been storefronts at one time, but now look very closed.

This is the last town of any sort you will pass through until Gerlach, some 75 miles to the south.
